Pacific Rim Bistro is owned and operated by Anna and Raymond Hsu, longtime Atlanta restaurateurs who in addition own Hsu’s Gourmet Chinese, also located in the heart of the city, and Silk, located in Midtown Atlanta.

Raymond is a native of Hong Kong, where his family has been in the restaurant business for over twenty years. When he met Anna, who is of Chinese descent and a native of Korea, and who also comes from a family involved for over thirty years in the restaurant industry, they put two-and-two together and become tremendously successful making people happy over food.

Hsu's Gourmet Chinese Restaurant is also located on Peachtree Center Avenue. Being just a block away from the Hyatt Regency, the Marriott Marquis, the Hilton, the Ritz-Carlton, and the Westin Peachtree, proved a boon for convention dining as well as providing reasonably priced luncheon fare for office workers in nearby towers.

The Hsu’s third restaruant, Silk, is located at the corner of 8th Street and Peachtree Street as a cornerstone of the Metropolis building. The menu features steak, lobster, and sushi … all with an Asian flair. Silk is mainly a ‘local dining destination’ pulling clientele from the condos and residences that surround it. However, being just 2 miles from downtown means conventioners still find their way to Silk, knowing full well the kind of attention to detail that the Hsu’s demand in their establishments.

Because Raymond and Anna speak English, Korean, Chinese, and some Japanese, visitors from around the world feel comfortable calling in from the four corners of the world to book banquets and à la carte dinners. The Hsu’s have been honored by Atlanta organizations such as the Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association who appreciate that this dynamic couple is Atlanta's ambassadors, introducing everyone to the diversity and wonders of this exciting restaurant community.
